Kyoto

Kyoto – Where the soul of Japan resides in a thousand temples.

Japan

About Kyoto

Kyoto is Japan’s living museum. As the former imperial capital, the city boasts an incredible wealth of UNESCO World Heritage sites, including glittering golden pavilions, meditative rock gardens, and scarlet shrines. While Tokyo represents the future, Kyoto preserves the past. Here, geishas still stroll through the alleys of Gion, and the tea ceremony is practiced with the same devotion as it was hundreds of years ago. Kyoto is a place of silence, aesthetics, and deep spiritual roots.
