Bangkok – The City of Angels, where tradition meets pure energy.
ThailandAbout Bangkok
Bangkok (Krung Thep) is an intoxicating experience for all the senses. In this megacity, gilded temples and royal palaces stand in stark contrast to futuristic shopping malls and one of the world's most spectacular rooftop scenes. Bangkok is famous for its seemingly endless street food offerings, the bustling activity on the Chao Phraya River, and a nightlife that ranges from authentic markets to elegant sky bars. It is the beating heart of Southeast Asia, a city that truly never sleeps.

How to get there
Bangkok is served by two airports: Suvarnabhumi (BKK) for most international flights and Don Mueang (DMK) primarily for low-cost carriers. From BKK, the Airport Rail Link is the fastest way to reach the center. Within the city, the BTS Skytrain and MRT subway are the best ways to bypass the notorious traffic. For trips along the river, the express boats are highly efficient.
